Dance Theater Frida Kahlo

Poetry and painting converted into dance. A choreography inspired by the life of one of the most important personalities in Mexican culture, Frida Kahlo, who depicted in her paintings a life full of pain, love, passion and losses. She is the pretext for this staging, where the choreographer brings together contemporary dance, flamenco, folk, Mexican music and theater, combining them to evoke a time full of splendor, romance and social changes, opening a window to the past, to a magical world full of essence to show the public the Mexican richness and identity.
